It is undeniable that this social activity that has been going on for 3 years is a hope for orphans and poor people, especially in Banuaran.
Interestingly, the Berkah Amal Salih Foundation (BAS) as the manager of JBB, is no longer only focused on giving donations to orphans and poor people. Disaster preparedness, creative economy development and exploring the potential of the young generation did not go unnoticed. There is also a Qur’an house with Tahfizh and Tahsin programs.
“We operate in all sectors with a target for the benefit of the people. There are Tahfizh for children and Tahsin for adults. Alhamdulillah, Tahfizh’s children currently number 26 people. And this number continues to grow. They are nurtured by 3 qualified teachers,” said Saribulih, who is also an education practitioner.
Besides that, he said, creative economy training has also been running. Previously, disaster preparedness training had also been held by bringing in PMI and disaster practitioners.
“We have also facilitated 100 cadres as requested by DPR RI member, Pak Darul Siska in stunting socialization with the BKKBN. Including the distribution of Pak Darul Siska’s assistance to flood victims in Banuaran,” he said.
“In the future, we will also nurture the younger generation in developing their interests and talents. Alhamdulillah, some community leaders in Banuaran are very supportive and willing to become coaches,” he said.
The Head of the Padang City Social Service, represented by the Secretary of the Office, Syafriadi, greatly appreciated the Salih Charity Blessing Foundation program. In fact, he supports programs related to the Padang City Social Service
“Especially for disaster preparedness, it is closely related to the social service. We need to follow up on this,” said Syafriadi, who also appreciated several children by asking questions.
On this occasion, the JBB Coordinator, Herwaty Taher, reported that this semester, Rp 25 million was collected. A total of Rp 1 million has been used for JBB on Friday (9/9) last week.
“Today, we distributed IDR 24 million for 60 children. Each of them received IDR 400 thousand plus various foods. All snacks and rice are the results of the contribution of MSMEs, both in Banuaran and elsewhere,” said Herwaty Taher, who was also trusted by his residents as the Head of RT 1 RW 10 for these 6 periods.
Tin, the owner of Rumah Makan Pagi Sore, one of the regular donors, admitted that he was very called upon to participate in this program. According to him, this continues. So that the orphans will be happy.
“We really support this activity. Hopefully our children will also feel the happiness,” said Tin who will bear the rice for JBB next week.
Present at the JBB this time, the Head of the Padang City Social Service, represented by the Secretary of the Service, Syafriadi, donors, including the Rumah Yatim Peduli Institution, the West Sumatra Regional Government Network, Morning Afternoon Tin, Yen Dapur Bunda, Bundo Lis, Eriwaty, Rita Noveri, Afni and other donors.
Also present were the Head of RW 10, Junaidi, the Head of the RT, the PKK Cadres of Banuaran Village, Teachers Tahfizh and Tahsin and other community leaders.
Saribulih said that the Salih Charity Blessing Foundation also accepted donors. Both in the form of zakat, infaq, shodoqah. Also donations in kind, such as the Qur’an for Tahfizh and Tahsin, school supplies and appropriate clothing. All will be distributed to those in need.
