Our hard-to-do prayers, read our qur’an which is just that, dhuha and tahajut which is hard for us to do or our little almsgiving. Allah is all-knowing with all that, so God gives us the mandate to be a teacher, with this teacher’s mandate we can every day convey goodness to our students.
And this is worship, every day except holidays we get the opportunity to convey kindness, this is a gift. Only with a blow of a bell or the loud sound of the school bell, our children will be eager and full of earnestness to enter our classrooms, waiting expectantly for the outpouring of our mouths.
All this is worship provided so beautifully and so easily. In front of the class we become ustad/ustadzah who never lose the pilgrim.
Compare it to the ustads who preach in the mosque or mushala whose worshippers sometimes have to be called to come. How lucky we teachers are.
So let us not waste the opportunity for each day, is the opportunity to convey kindness to our “pilgrims’ who have eagerly listened to our advice and tausiah.
The value of the good that we convey will continue to grow, if our children practice the good we convey. We’re going to get that overflow of goodness.
Moreover, if our children convey this kindness to others, their families, communities and friends, then goodness for the sake of good will continue to flow to us as the first conveyer.
Be the deed of the multi-level worship. The Messenger of Allah gave glad tidings “whoever conveys goodness and goodness is recited. Then the person who delivers will get the reward without compromising the reward of the one who does it”. It’s incredible
