A total of 15 hand sprayers were also handed over. This includes grants of IDR 750 million for a number of farmer groups. “We don’t want farmers to stop producing, so we remain committed to providing assistance to farmers,” said Hermanto.
Hermanto had mentioned the increase in the price of a number of staples recently. According to him, farmers are the affected parties when there is a price increase. “Through this assistance, we hope that agricultural production will continue to increase. Therefore, we continue to think about how we continue to allocate budgets for farmers,” he explained.
