Not long ago, as many as 7 units of fire engines were pacing on the road in front of the Padang DPRD which had just been opened.
The black smoke is getting thicker, because the semi-permanent housing unit is being held by the red sijago. The condition of the fire was getting bigger, due to strong wind gusts.
The officers continue to try to tame the fire on Dr Wahidin Street, Rt 03 Rw 07, Sawahan Timur Village, Padang Timur District, Padang City.

Head of Operations, Facilities and Infrastructure for the Padang Fire Department, Sutan Hendra, told reporters that his party received a report of a fire at around 12:40 WIB.
“Based on the report, our 7 firefighters immediately went to the location of the fire, with a personnel strength of about 40 people,” he said.
He added, due to this fire incident, there were 2 houses that were burned down, in which 1 motorcycle, 6 bicycles and 7 families were affected.
“For the location of the fire, it occurred in densely populated areas, narrow alleys, and the fire extinguishing process took 40 minutes,” he said
The police are currently investigating the cause of the fire. However, the loss is estimated at IDR 1 billion.
Meanwhile, Rafles, a resident of the house, said that during the dhuhur call to prayer, he saw a small smoke next to the house. “I saw the fire starting to get bigger and I screamed for people in the house to get out,” he said.
He also said that the house that caught fire was the person who sold meatballs and herbs.
In this incident, said Rafles, he could only save diplomas and other important documents, but other valuables could not be saved. (*)
