Suspect RG (42), a resident of Nagari Koto Gadang Guguk, Gunung Talang District, was arrested by officers after being caught in possession of a small package of methamphetamine, in Jorong Pasa Baru Nagari Koto Gadang Guguk, Tuesday, August 2, 2002 night.

The Narcotics Satres officers immediately arrested the suspect who claimed to be named RG, and in the presence of local resident witnesses, a body search was carried out on the perpetrator.
From the search, said Iptu Oon Kurnia, his party found a package of suspected methamphetamine type narcotics wrapped in clear plastic clamps which was found in the suspect’s trouser pocket.
