The perpetrator with the initials ADV (25) a resident of Jorong Sawah Sudut, Nagari Selayo, Solok Regency was arrested when he was about to flee to Dharmasraya.

Meanwhile, the co-actor with the initials K (22) is still being chased by officers. According to information, the man, who is also registered as a resident of Jorong Sawah, Angle Selayo, fled to Padang Panjang.
“Our team is still pursuing perpetrator K, who reportedly fled to his girlfriend’s house in Padang Panjang,” said Apri Wibowo.
The police chief explained that the total evidence of narcotics packages was 75 packages of marijuana that were successfully secured. From the perpetrator’s confession, the two of them took the marijuana directly to Aceh using a car.
“So in total there were 75 packages weighing around 93 kilograms that we managed to secure. Currently, we are still continuing to develop related to the case, “explained the Solok Police Chief to a number of media crews.
In addition to 80 packages of marijuana, officers also secured a car that was brought by the two perpetrators for further development. Currently, the perpetrators and evidence, including the Avanza, BA 1191 HA, which was used to carry narcotics, have been secured to the Solok Police Headquarters for further legal proceedings. And the perpetrators face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Previously, as many as 75 packages of dried marijuana ready for distribution were successfully confiscated by the Solok Police Narcotics Unit in the KTK area of Solok City, Sunday, July 31, 2022. After the two perpetrators fled and a chase ensued. Finally, the perpetrator was caught by the police.
The Solok Police Chief said that the disclosure of the marijuana distribution began when officers received information about marijuana transactions in Nagari Selayo, Kubung District, Solok Regency.
Starting from this information, officers found two suspicious men driving a Toyota Avanza BA 1191 HA in front of SMA 1 Kubung. When he was about to be arrested, the perpetrator fled.
The officers gave chase until the perpetrator fled to the area behind the KTK gas station, Solok City. Arriving at the location, the perpetrator then threw two gunny sacks into the stem of the lembang and fled leaving the car he was driving.
Officers were forced to plunge into the river to retrieve the sacks that were swept away by the current. When it was opened, it was found that it contained marijuana, packaged with duct tape. In addition to the two sacks that were thrown into the river, officers also found one bag in the perpetrator’s car.
The Solok Police Chief, AKBP Apri Wibowo through the Narcotics Head, Iptu Oon Kurnia Divine, confirmed the incident. According to him, a total of three burlap sacks containing marijuana types were secured by officers.
“From the three sacks, there are 80 packages of dried marijuana ready for distribution. It is suspected that it will be distributed in Solok and surrounding areas,” explained Iptu Oon Kurnia Divine.
