The course of the match
Garuda Asia, the nickname of Indonesia’s U16 national team, immediately launched an attack after the whistle signaled the start of the match.
The Indonesian U16 national team created opportunities through Riski Afrisal’s kick from outside the penalty box. However, Afrisal’s shot was too swift and the ball bounced well over the goal.
The Indonesian U16 national team’s attack resulted in a goal when the match was only two minutes old. Goals stems from bait Arkhan Kaka on the right side of the penalty box.
Arkhan, previously scoring in the game against the Philippines, passed the ball to Muhammad Nabil Asyura who was in an ideal position to score.
Nabil controlled the ball and passed several Singaporean players, before firing a left-footed shot and the round skinny nestled in the left corner of the opponent’s goal.
Indonesia doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 17th minute. Again, it was Nabil who made the Singapore goalkeeper, Efan Qiszman, have to pick up the ball from the net.
Nabil’s second goal was started by Azzaky Esa’s movement in the right sector of the attack on the Indonesian U16 national team. He tricked the Singapore players, before providing a pass into the box.
Nabil who was free standing in front of the goal mouth won the aerial duel and managed to score the ball with his header.
The scoreboard changed and showed the number 3-0 in the 20th minute after Hanif Ramadhan scored a goal from a long-range kick.
Nabil did not stop showing brilliant performances. He managed to score a hat trick in the 29th minute and brought Indonesia 4-0 ahead.
